GARBAGE
Where does Sears get off peddling trash like this??? First of all, there is nothing magnetic about it. The freezer door closes & just sits there with nothing really holding it. Secondly, it arrived so misshapen, a hot air gun will not even iron it out. There is no difference in performance between the new gasket and the old one...cold air still leaks from the same areas and neither a hot air gun nor vaseline will remedy it. I've decided instead to get a new refrigerator. BUT...It sure won't be from Sears but from a REPUTABLE retailer. It's no wonder Sears has gone bankrupt & closed a number of their stores.

Easy to install. Make sure you watch YouTube videos about how to remove the doors. Fixed the problem completely.

Follow the examples on YouTube..an easy install.
Follow the YouTube examples, i.e. remove the freezer compartment door ( very easy, using ratchet wrench); screws are removed with a Phillips head screwdriver, align the new gasket carefully, after tossing the old one. Note: ensure that the gasket, when installed and before re-hanging the freezer door, is secured correctly by the frame of the freezer door insert, no binding or pinching of the gasket.
