Additional Information

Push-to-start switch WP3977456 sends electrical current to the dryer motor when the button is pressed, starting the cycle. If your dryer doesnt start or only runs while you hold the button down, the switch may need replacement.

To install, position the new switch in the control panel bracket and snap the locking tab into the slot. Reconnect the wires as shown in your service manual.
