Fits, fixed!

It took a bit of prying/finessing with a flathead screwdriver and a pair of needle-nose pliers, but once it was in the groove it looked factory installed. If you watch YouTube videos on how to replace it, the techs use a pair of 'clamp spreading pliers' to stretch the spring to make it easy to install. Sort of an oversized pair of external snap-ring pliers with a fair bit of travel. Those would make it a lot easier, but they're twice the price of the part. If you're doing the inside clamp as well, I'd suggest thinking about getting the pliers - the inside clamp is a lot more difficult, both to remove and to install.

Perfect replacement part.

Fit perfect. Easy to remove existing and install new one with a pair of spring release pliers.
