Part Information
Ice maker AEQ72910409 includes the ice mold and the control device. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and then holds the water in the ice mold until the water freezes solid. It then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage bin is full.
Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off and unplug the refrigerator when installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Saves money by installing yourself. Was a bit hard to connect to the quick disconnect plug. The plug could have been 1/4 inch longer.

10-cube ice maker for Kenmore
I have a Kenmore Elite 795.71033.010 refrigerator. This is my second purchase, because I accidentally purchased the AEQ73110205, which is a 14-cube ice maker for a different fridge. Arrived dirty
Arrived with black soot in the ice tray and all over the product. I had to scrub it before it could be used. Very disappointed. Other than being gross.., it arrived quickly and works now with its new part.

Choice: get the wrong part, or the right part?
