Vintage Chainsaw - Fuel Line

Used to replace brittle and broken original line of a vintage chainsaw. Was easy to work through the few access openings from the tank, through the handle housing to the carburetor. Went onto the carb fitting securely and yes, after some priming, started sending fuel and started! Ordered a spare for future use. Thanks, SEARS Parts Direct.

Both fuel lines (large and small) deteriorated after many years of use. It was easy to replace and took about 15 minutes to complete. Directions are easy to follow. Just pay attention to where the lines are connected. Hardest part was fishing the fuel filter out of the fuel tank to disconnect from the old line and hook onto the new line (I used a needle nosed plyers to get ahold of it). Tools needed: Scissors and needle nosed plyers.
