Clearing clogs in your Goldblatt painting power tool

• For tools with a reversible tip, rotate the tip to the clean position.
• Point the spray gun in a safe direction and spray through the gun. That should clear the tip of any clogs.
• Rotate the tip back to the application spray position and continue applying the paint.
• If clogging continues or your gun doesn't have a reversible tip, clean or replace the spray gun filter.
• You may need to strain and/or thin the paint if clogging continues after cleaning or replacing the spray gun filter.

Maintenance tips for your Goldblatt painting power tool

• Follow the proper shut-down procedure when you complete the painting project.
• Don't use oil-based solvents to clean the painting power tool after using it to apply latex paint. Use only warm, soapy water to clean the equipment after applying latex paint.
• Wipe inside of the suction filter housing with a rag. Clean the suction filter in a separate container of cleaning fluid or water and then reinsert the filter into the suction filter Housing.
• Spray 1 gallon of cleaning fluid or water through the spray gun.
• Remove the spray tip and clean the tip with a brush.
• Clean and dry the body of the painting power tool.
