This door spring (part number WD03X10007) is for dishwashers.

Door spring WD03X10007 applies tension to the dishwasher door through the door hinge to prevent the door from dropping too quickly when you open the dishwasher.

Use caution when installing the door spring because the spring is under tension and could snap. Wear work gloves to protect your hands during this repair.

Easy to install took 5-10 minutes to do it. Recommended to watch online videos ahead of time

Right ones first time.

The exact size needed for the job. One of the originals was undersized, but that's not the one that broke. They were relatively easy to install except for the side with the return line, took at least a half an hour. The other side took about five minutes. The cost of the replacements was the shocker, but I guess these are getting rare for a 15 year old machine...

GE Dishwasher Door Spring Replacement

I viewed Youtube videos for how to install. The job took a while but was not very difficult. I did not have to slide the dishwasher out, just removed bottom front panels. Door works like new again.
