How to clean the brushes on your Kenmore floor scrubber
- Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet to disconnect electrical power.
- Pull the nozzle release buttons out and remove the nozzle.
- Tilt the floor scrubber back so its handle rests on the floor.
- Push the brush release buttons and remove the brush assembly.
- Wash the brush assembly using mild detergent and rinse the brush assembly thoroughly with plain water. Allow the brush assembly to dry completely.
- Reinstall the brush assembly and reassemble the floor scrubber.
Common replacement parts for Kenmore floor scrubbers
- Base squeegee. The base squeegee fastens to the base assembly to direct water towards the suction area.
- Mode selector dial. The mode selector dial turns the scrubbing brushes on and off.
