Battery charger safety instructions for your Ryobi power screwdriver

• Don't use the battery charger in explosive atmospheres such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Inserting or removing the battery pack from the charger can ignite dust or fumes.
• Never force to battery pack into the battery charger.
• Don't modify the battery pack in any way to fit into a non-compatible battery charger. The battery pack can rupture and cause serious personal injury if it's inserted into a non-compatible battery charger.
• Don't splash or immerse the battery charger in water or other liquids.
• Don't use the battery charger in locations where temperatures exceed 105-degrees F.

Parts and accessories that you'll need for your Ryobi power screwdriver

• Screwdriver bits. You'll need to replace missing, worn and damaged screwdriver bits that you need to complete projects. You may also need specialty screwdriver bits for projects which require you to drive screws into hard metal.
• Carbon motor brushes. Carbon motor brushes transfer electric current to the spinning armature in the motor. You'll need to replace carbon motor brushes when they wear down to ¼-inch in length.
• Trigger switch. The trigger switch starts and stops the power screwdriver motor. Replace the trigger switch if it doesn't send current to the drive motor when you pull the trigger.
• Drive motor. The drive motor spins the chuck and screwdriver bit to drive screws into the work piece. Replace the drive motor if it doesn't run when it gets electrical current.
