How to troubleshoot your Distiller-Shetland water distiller when it won't power up

Check the electrical outlet to make sure it has power. Reset the house circuit breaker for the electrical outlet if the outlet is dead. If the outlet works, unplug the distiller and check the distiller power cord for damage. Replace the power cord if it's frayed or broken. If the power cord is okay, check the wiring connections of the power cord to the distiller (with the distiller still unplugged). Reconnect any loose power cord wires. If power cord wiring is okay, you may need to replace the power switch.
