Common Craftsman rolling tool cart replacement parts

  • Caster wheel. The caster wheel fits at the bottom of the rolling tool cart and allows you to roll the tool cart to a different location. The caster wheel also has a locking mechanism that keeps the wheel from rolling when the lock is engaged.
  • Lock. The lock keeps the rolling tool cart drawer or cabinet locked shut when you engage the lock using the key.
  • Key. The key locks and unlocks the locking mechanism on a drawer or cabinet of the rolling tool cart.
  • Slide rail. The slide rail supports the storage drawer and allows the storage drawer to slide in and out so you can access tools in the rolling tool cart.

Replacing a drawer lock on your Craftsman rolling tool cart

  • Wear work gloves to protect your hands before beginning the repair.
  • Open the drawer and release the drawer slide rails from the support rails inside the rolling tool cart. Pull the drawer out and lay it on a flat work surface.
  • Remove the screws that secure the lock mounting bracket to the drawer's front panel then remove the lock mounting bracket.
  • Pull the old lock out of the drawer front panel.
  • Install the new lock and secure it with the mounting bracket. Reinstall the drawer in the rolling tool cart.
