Sears Riding Lawnmower starter switch.

The switch didn`t work, after installing it and trying to rehookup the battery the engine tried ti start with the switch in the off position. I put in the old switch and am going to use that, pitched the new switch. After providing the engine model number 13AL78XS093 I expected the new switch to work, not so.
