Metal Repl Washer Lid - WP Cabrio WTW8600YW0 Washe
Replaced the defective W10842924 plastic lid with metal lid WP8572026. Perfect fit on WTW8600YW0 Cabrio washer. I ordered the recommended 2 hinge arms WP8563964 ($5ea) and 4 screws WPW10119828 ($4.70 ea) for the metal lid ($76), but a handyman could probably rig it cheaper from the hardware store. This lid fits perfectly and no more plastic parts to break from hinge stress. Lid was on backorder couple weeks, but SearsPartsDirect stayed in touch with email updates. Ordered 5-29, delivered 6-21. Worth the wait, and 1/3 the price of the original plastic lid that has the defective hinge spring design causing plastic to rip apart requiring yearly replacement. 2nd time I've ordered SearsPartsDirect. Got everything to tune up my lawnmower and replace drive wheels. Store pickup is super fast.
