Completely compatible with a standard automotive bulb # 1004. I replaced the bulb in my Craftsman router, model # 315.17491. Much better illumination with this LED replacement.

Poor quality.
It is not centered around the mounting screws, so if sticks further out on one side. This is a problem if you plan to run it along a jig as your measurements have to be different depending on which side you are going to put against the jig.
