Easy to install
I am a diyer however I've never attempted to fix the washer. I'm ashamed to say I've battled with the old bad locking mechanism for over 3 years. The replacement was easy but you definitely need someone to help.

We found a Youtube video on how to install and it was very straightfoward and took far less time than we thought it would. My washer is now performing better than ever (we bought it second-hand). So happy!! Exactly what we needed!!

Kenmore Oasis Elite Lid Lock
Part was not an exact match (look wise) but worked perfectly. Washer no longer reports a lid lock problem when in use.
