Purchased the motor and installed it easily
Removed and replaced motor with out difficulty. Also unclogged exposed water fill nozzle in motor compartment access with paper clip.

LG ice maker auger motor
I replaced the auger motor on my LG French door ice maker. Once I had narrowed down what i believed the problem to be and ordered the part, it was a fairly straightforward fix. I am glad it was the auger motor and not some electronic circuit board problem.
