Junk Again.

The parts (5) took forever to be manufactured and sent (probably China). They were obviously multi-purpose as they were labeled as a treadmill part and came with lubricant that was not appropriate for the stationary bike role. After installation I adjusted the seat (where the parts are used) and heard a crunching sound indicating that the new wheels were breaking just as the old ones did. The seat will not hold position once the wheels break since they maintain the force upon which the seat mechanism presses. Designed by an idiot apparently as the plastic is not up to the job. Additionally they are cheap plastic wheels that cost a fortune. I looked online, and could not find the same size, but similar wheels are available for under $1.00 a piece. Fortunately, I will never suffer buying a product at Sears again.

Substituted parts
September 28, 2019

The carriage wheels are made of hard plastic or silicon. This is the second time I had to replace them as they crack and break apart. Hard rubber wheels would probably last longer. Each wheel is held in place by a small retainer ring. The retainer rings are very difficult to remove and replace. I asked if there was a special tool. The response I received was follow the assembly instructions. Since this was a pre assembled part there are no instructions. When I ordered the retainer rings they were on back order. I received a substitute for the retainer rings which were too large and had to be returned. The credit I received did not match my initial purchase charge. The credit was less even though I was told I would receive full reimbursement.

Not too difficult to install

It took just a little time. Just be careful not to lose the little rings that have to be removed and reapplied.

Wheels were shot, so instead of buying new just replace the wheels. Husband had no problem doing it. Only thing shipping was crazy high. also price of wheels. But got the job done!
