Very easy to install, with the right tool.
The part came very quickly, and was installed by my husband, with a little help from yours truly. It was simple and straightforward to remove the old one and replace the new one. Now, my dishwasher is working like new.

took 15 min the first time ( took off the front panel, unnecessary). 5 min the second time. getting a refund and not trying the 3rd time. sears was great. the part wasen"t

Wrong Part - Did not fix my issue
I called SearsPartsDirect before making this purchase. The dishwasher had been running when the power went out, and would not power on afterwards. After a google search, I had narrowed the problem down to the Control Board or a Thermal Fuse. (Spoiler Alert: It was the Thermal Fuse). Note that I confirmed that power was coming into the board. I called SearsPartsDirect and they were certain that I needed the Control Board. The swap was easy, but it did not fix the problem. I put the old control board back in, bought the Thermal fuse, and it started back up. My recommendation if this is time sensitive is to buy both parts at once, and try the thermal fuse first, and return what is not needed. I should have done that. But at least SearsPartsDirect makes returns easy.

Doesn't Work
Purchased a control board to fix the problem which was the dishwasher stopping in the middle of the cycle. Installed product. Worked fine for 2 week. Quit working and dishwasher acting up again. NEVER will buy another Kenmore. Also, never got the discount applied when I checked out the online purchase.
