Easy to install
The tech on duty tried to tell me I needed control board despite the symptoms indicating I needed the touch control panel. I went with my own diagnosis from info I read and was able to solve the issue.

Very Straight Foreward Installation
The repair was very straight forward. Removed the front panel screws keeping track of which holes held the long screws. Removed the door latch by pressing back the two plastic retainer clips. Removed the panel cover. Removed the old Control Panel by pressing back two plastic retainer clips. Disconnected the electrical. reversed the process by snapping everything back in place. Replaced the screws. Done.

Easy to Install
I was going to buy a new dishwasher because I though mine was broken. However, my husband figured out it was just the control panel that was broken. He ordered the part from Sears and installed himself. I have a working dishwasher!!!! AWESOME!!!

Easy repair on our Kenmore Ultrawash
I viewed the steps online at Sears Parts Direct and followed the steps. It was an easy 20 minute repair. The culprit was faults in the ribbon cable which I found during the repair.
