This door seal and strike kit (part number W10542314) is for dishwashers.
Door seal and strike kit W10542314 creates a watertight seal around the dishwasher door and locks the door latch in place when the door is closed.
Unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker before servicing your dishwasher. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Directions
It would have been nice if the seal came with directions. I don't want to tear out the old one until I figure out how to install the new one. Also the bag says Whirlpool not Kenmore. What gives?

sent the wrong parts , it takes an act of congress to get ahold of someone to return the seals , tried 4 times and the recording just keeps rattling on then hangs up on me ,,, never accomplished nothing ...

Replacement Door Gasket for a Kenmore Dishwasher
This door gasket fit my Kenmore dishwasher perfectly. I only had to cut about an inch off of one end after installing it. No more leaks.

Dishwasher Seal - delivery and installation
Very easy to install except I installed it backwards the first time. Was very easy to remove and reinstall correctly. Make sure flange end is going into the dishwasher, it can be installed either way. There were no directions with the kit, so I just figured it out myself.
