Thermistor hole is the wrong size
I have an older Kitchenaid dishwasher (model kuds01djss0) and unfortunately like other reviews mention the port for the Thermistor on the motor housing is the wrong size, the new housing has a much larger hole than the old part and does not fit.

It was fairly easy to install and it took about an hour. Take pictures before you start to remove the old motor

Part arrived as described.
Installation was fairly easy to install. A second set of hands is very helpful to hold part in place while installing holders. Also a little dish soap helps seal slide in better.

Our Kenmore dishwasher had a different thermistor
Our Kenmore dishwasher model 665.16263400 uses a different thermistor. The housing for the new pump motor has a much bigger hole for the thermistor. I ordered the new thermistor and I hope it fits the new pump motor housing, another $75.

Part didn't work
This part never worked. It arrived on time and was easy to install. Thankfully it was just as easy to remove. Had to buy from a local supplier to get appliance to work as the pump motor never worked.

replace pump and motor
upon watching videos, it seemed like an easy chore. But for some unknown reason the rubber gasket would not fit into the base. I even tried lube to no avail, it was just too tight. on the second day, I was able to pry it enough to put the three retainers in. It still didn't seat properly, but it won't leak. The remainder went easily.

Easy job for a beginner
I watched a youtube video first, it was right on with the proceedure. I already had old assembly out , replacing it took less than an hour to be done and all put away. Works great, like a new dishwasher now for less than $130.00!!!!
