Took me less then an hour and I am slow at these things. Part was in the front of the washer, just had to do everything lying down.

Improve shipping/delivery notification system
Relatively easy to change out. Make sur the water supply to the dishwasher is fully OFF! More communication on when the unit actually shipped with tracking numbers etc please. The expected arrival date changed, for the better, after the purchase confirmation but I had not heard/gotten an email notice on the new date of delivery.

Dishwasher water feed valve.
The hole in the bracket for the mounting screw to attach the bracket to the dishwasher was larger than on the original. As a result the original screw was useless for mounting the valve. No screw was provided with the new valve. I had to jury rig a replacement. Other than that, the valve was fine.

Correct part sent. Midly difficult to install.
Sears dishwasher inlet valve failed after 8+ years. I am sure that this was mostly due to the hard water in my area. I ordered the replacement part from Sears. It took 2 attempts due to issues with part numbers and availability. Suffice to say that the correct part came 5 days later. The part is a basic plastic valve with a **separate** brass inlet elbow converter. I neglected to order the elbow new and had to reuse the old part. This was OK, except due to the abovementioned hard water, there were hard water scale deposits in the elbow. I put the elbow only in a plastic bag with CLR and 2 sessions later, a clean part. Sears SHOULD have recommended purchasing the elbow converter with the valve. it would have saved time. The actual job consists of undoing the power, water source, and outlet connections, and replacing them on the new part. There are plenty of YouTube videos showing how it is done. However access to the part was HORRIBLE as the opening is on the bottom of the DW, is only about 5 inches high, and the valve for my dishwasher is about 8 inches underneath. This means that you are on the floor on your side trying to get 2 hands in there while not blocking your vision or the flashlight(s). Worse, the tool clearance to undo the water source line is MISERABLE. You need to use small wrenches or pliers, and in many cases, you will only be able to move the nut 1/16 of an inch. The job is definitely do-able. However be sure to first look at how the valve is situated on your dish washer, and ensure that you have the correct tools on-hand to do the job. Be sure also to turn off the water and power to the dishwasher before doing any work. Note that I rated this job as "difficult" only because of the access issues. Otherwise it is no more difficult than connecting a hose to a faucet. I rated it as "time consuming" because the access forces you to go slowly. This is true also in the case of older appliances in order to ensure that you do not break something.

Very easy install, replace the inlet line also.
The installation was very easy. The whole job took about an 1hr. All needed was to take the bottom panel off the dishwasher. This gives you access to the valve.

Install used a minimum of tools. It was a little difficult to remove the inlet fitting from the old unit to install on the new one.

Straight forward installation
Easy enough to do. Just a little time consuming given the fact that you practically have to uninstall the entire dishwasher to get to the part.
