Easy in, difficult out
In trying to remove the old shaft it was hard to keep the socket on the bolt area without the drum knocking it off. A second person to hold the drum would of helped. Finally just used channel locks to get it out. Going back together was easier.

Installation was easy, did need to modify a socket to fit into the opening to remove, there is good u tube video on the process.

Not too difficult, but time-consuming.
Although the bearing cover was stuck and had to be cut, the repair wasn't hard to do. Several on-line resources showed 1.25 man-hours for professional repairers, it took me 1.5 hours.

Easy to install. Fast delivery.
A slim, deep 7/8 socket is helpful to have when making this repair. I had a snap-on 6-point that worked well and would fit back in the hole.
