Washer Door Lock Switch
This repair requires a bit of muscle since there are no threads on the black plastic for the screw to move easily into during the installation. I had my adult son put the screws in while I held the part in place. We no longer receive any error messages on our machine thanks to the new door lock switch!

Yes, Easy to Install, BUT...
No problem installing, but the cost of a full assembly, including probably unnecessary electronics, seemed overpriced. Replacing the less expensive worn mechanical parts was probably all that was needed. Oh, and the estimated $190+ for a service tech to install it was a joke.

Straightforward Except for Plugging In/Out
It was pretty straightforward to remove the old part and reinstall the new one. The only tricky part was getting the power unplugged from the unit -- it's a small space and hard to get leverage while also depressing the little plastic tab that helps keep the plug in place. Reinstalling the plug on the new part was a little hard too, but not as tricky as initially unplugging it.
