This gas collector box and igniter (part number P2618A) is for gas grills.
Gas collector box and igniter P2618A holds the gas before it flows over the igniter. The igniter produces the spark that ignites the gas.
Disconnect the gas to the grill and wait until the surface is cool to the touch before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Perfect replacement part for my 19 year old grill!
Perfect replacement part for my 20 year old Kenmore Elite bbq grill. New electrode box restored my grill to 100% with quick one button lighting of my burners. With replacement parts from Sears, I should get another 20 years.
