Easy to replace
This is the 2nd time we have replaced the switch. The end of it gets easily caught on the laundry going in and or coming out of the dryer. My son has temporarily fixed it a few times with superglue but when that no longer does the trick we order a new one. Fortunately, it is easy to replace.

Easy door switch install.
The door switch was easy to install, it only took about 15 minutes, just removed the lint trap and removed the 2 screws there, then used a stiff metal spatula to pry the top of the dryer up then tip it back. You will have access to the switch, you'll need to open the dryer door to remove the 2 screws holding it, then just unplug it and revers the proses to install the new switch, and you'll have a working dryer again :)

Super easy fix!
This was the easiest part to fix on my dryer yet! I've had my Kenmore washer and dryer for over 15 years and I used to call a repairman. In order to save money I started attempting to fix it myself. I have replaced many parts, but this was the easiest! When it had no power at all I thought for sure it was an expensive part that would be difficult to repair. Come to discover it was a broken door switch, and it only took me about 6 minutes to replace! Super satisfying!
