Rod Back in Place
After ordering, quickly received the rod to re-attach the deflector to the lawn tractor. I also ordered the ring keeper for the end of the rod. The rod pushed in very easily. I attached the ring by hammering a wrench socket, appropriately sized, which easily pushed the ring onto the end of the rod. After rounding up parts, it took about 5 minutes to complete the job. I bought 2 extras in case I lose it again. Very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend Sears Parts Direct. Looking up parts is easy, and shipments are made quickly.

Easy to install
It was very easy to install; no directions needed. However, it does not "stay in" so I will need find some alternative parts to keep it in place. I mowed my backyard on Saturday and at the end I could see the rod was already slipping back out of place. It needs an extra part to stop this from happening....either a pin or washer/nut/screw on the end.
