Kenmore dual burner switch 8053837

So far this has been a bad experience. The switch p/n 8053837 has been replaced with p/n wp8203529, which is a repair kit made to work on at least 5 different stoves. No instructions are included and this switch doesn't look anything like the original switch. The original part has 7 tabs for 6 wires, but this part has 9 tabs. I'm not an electrician or a repairman, so I needed some help to determine which 6 tabs to use. The part works OK, but we couldn't figure out how to mount it to the stove. After careful examination of the picture of the part on the website, I determined that the part supplied didn't match the one in the picture. I called customer service and explained the difference. She said she would describe the difference on the pick ticket and send another part. Unfortunately, the replacement part is the same as the first part. I'm sure it is hard for someone in the warehouse to know what to look for other than the part number. I checked several other websites for this part. Their pictures showed 2 different styles, but neither was like the part I received. I called customer service again, and they finally said they would turn it over to research to find out what happened. Either the wrong parts were put in bags or the design was changed, but the parts provided don't fit on our range.

Impossible to connect wires on range switch

Connectors on the range switch were no where near the same as the connectors on the original part and there were no instructions on how to connect it. Impossible to figure out connections. Could not install and had to return part.
