Do it yourself, save the money
This was an easy assembly if you have a good video to explain the process. Ordering the part and installing it myself saved me over $200. Ordering was very simple to do and it was delivered in record time. Very little down time (unfortunately for my wife.)

Quick shipping and fairly straight forward install
The part was shipped quickly and arrived in good condition. The installation process was pretty simple and straight forward. The videos I found were for a different model with different hardware. The only issue I had was removing and replacing the clips on the heating elements. For replacing the clips, I finally figured out that it was easier to remove them from the heating element, place them on the range top, and then snap the sharp piece into place on the bottom of the heating element.

Direct replacement top
Replacement was fairly straightforward. Removed/replaced 17 screws and disconnected/reconnected 4 wiring plugs. The only things that took a little figuring out was removing the 2 spring-clips per burner. After those were removed, everything went back together very easily. Approximately 30 minute job.

Oh, how good it is...SEARS!!
I was worried about finding a replacement for my LG glass-top stove after having dropped a jar of honey on it!!! It was amazingly easy, once I went to the website and received assistance from one of the technicians. He was very knowledgeable and assured me that it was the right part! Once received, my partner (a woman) was able to install it within an hour or two. Thanks Sears!

Took both of us to install.
I had to hold the cooktop while my husband removed the hot plates. Remember to unplug your stove before you start. It was a bit of a hassle but well worth saving $250 the repair company wanted to charge for the service fee. There are u-tube videos you can watch for installation procedure.

Moderate difficulty to Install
I would recommend lifting off the old assembly first and taking lots of pictures and then disconnecting all of the clips and dropping them down in place. This requires someone to help and hold up the assembly but it makes putting it back together pretty easy. A tip for the clips: use a screwdriver to pry them off away from the hole they are clipped into. That was the trickiest part for us as we are afraid of breaking things. Overall a pretty easy install and the assembly we received was in perfect condition, no issues there. Everything is back and working again. DON'T USE CAST-IRONS OR PRESSURE COOKERS. That is what broke our original one.
