Very easy to install, issue was a literal bug

This part was very easy to install and exactly what we needed. The dishwasher was only about 2 years old, so we were pretty irritated that it broke so soon and a tech told us it would cost ~$500 to fix. Luckily he told us the control board was bad. So I simply ordered it and installed it myself. In taking the old control board out we found a roach living inside of it and corrosion on the board, along with roach "dirt" covering most of it. We evicted that roach, installed the new board and the dishwasher is like new again. Literal bug in the board.

I wasn't sure if this was even the problem with the dishwasher, which is why I got the part here. They have a great return policy. But it did fix the problem. Fairly easy to install, a few screws and some wiring connections. Good to go.

Easy Install

The repair was straight forward and simple. Turn the power off at the breaker. Remove ten screws to remove the front cover and the electronic control unit was easily exposed. There is a clip on top of the unit that needs to be lifted slightly and the control unit slides to the left about an inch and pull gently forward to remove. Remove all of the plugs from the control unit and swap out the old for the new. Gently line up the Control unit on to the grooves and slide to the left locking it in place. replace the screws and you are ready to go. The best part of this is really the easy use Sears website that mad the proper diagnosis and the right parts.
