Overall good experience

I am your average guy that likes to save money and repair home issue whenever I can. Our LG top load washing machine started giving us unbalanced issues and we called a local service repair company to check it out. The repairman informed us that the four suspension rods needed replacement and it would cost about $360.00. He said we could think about getting the repair and if we decided to move forward that the $100.00 service check would apply later. After he left I looked online to see how much rods would cost and Sears had the for $65.00. I watched a YouTube video and it seemed within my skill level to complete on my own. Well I can say that the parts came quickly from Sears and were exactly what I needed ( I removed my old rods and checked part numbers before ordering). Saved about $200.00 and am happy. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because two of the four rods Sears sent seemed like an older version and two seemed brand new. They all worked out fine I just wish they all had been the same newer model.

I recommend having a extra person to assist with lifting on the tub while removing and installing the rods. This made the install and alignment of the rods much easier.

Not hard to put in, however it did not completely solve the problem. Now searching for a further solution.
