The most difficult portions of the repair were the removal of the assembly from the door and the removal the control itself from the assembly. There are some videos on line to help with the removal of the assembly from the door. Removing the control was a bit more difficult due to the adhesive between the display and the touch panel. I found placing he assembly in the hot Florida sunshine for an hour softened the adhesive and made the task much easier. It is a good idea to purchase and replace the overlay/keypad assembly also.
