Plug and play, but look closely...
Easy to replace, 15 minutes. The start and stop buttons ceased to function on my dishwasher, this solved the problem. Wish I would have looked more closely, because this panel does not have the "steam clean" function that my unit came with, although I had never used that so no big deal.

Very Simple to do and worth the price
I watched a YouTube video of a guy doing the replacement of the panel unit. It worked exactly as he showed. The panel is made to come off and go one simply. The steam ruins the buttons over time so this is a typical fix to be done. My one complaint is with Sears related to shipping. I needed to get the part fast. I paid $35 for super fast overnight shipping. They did ship it fast but only sent it UPS Ground so I had to wait a week to get from Texas to California. I hate UPS when I am in a hurry. I called and Sears refunded my shipping money and told me that it should have never offered me the overnight option. If you need any part overnight then they are not the vendor. They explained to me that they never do overnight. So this is a word to the wise reading this.

Right part. Easy to install.
Had to replace the control panel because the on/off switch on the ribbon cable that is part of the front control panel stopped working. Replacement of the panel was quick and easy.
