Could have purchased cheap knockoff part from Amazon but glad I spent the extra money to get the OEM part. The original lasted 7 years and broke the cam pin, which is common. I wish they'd re-engineer this.

Just what I needed
Motor rebuilt with the new cam and governor I was able to get from Sears. All back together and mowing. So happy to have a one stop shopping for all the parts I need during the summer mowing season.

Camshaft replacement
Camshaft easily removed and new camshaft fitted right in place with no problems and I would also recommend applying a real thin layer of grease on crankshaft when reassembling motor through crankshaft seal if you leave existing seal in place if you don't replace it. Reassembled motor and mounted on mower and one turn of the key and I was back in business. Total job took about 1 1/2 hrs
