I was told by repair person that part was discontinued but I easily acquired it from Sears part direct. I was fortunate to find a new repair person who installed part; beware that many repair people will not install a part you buy.

Decided to replace the entire tower unit instead

My Bosch fridge has a 'tower' on the inside back panel, labeled Multi-AirFlow, which is basically a vent/damper system to port cold air from the freezer into the refrigerator compartments. There are two of these dampers and two temp sensors integrated into the tower. I wish I had the skill and time to replace only the part that was malfunctioning, but I found it more expedient to replace the entire tower with all those parts included. It's sold here also. Cost me an extra $120 or so, but still far less than calling a repair tech and the best part is...it's done! And it works!

electronic connector did not match original

the replacement part had a different electronic connector than the original so part could not be installed. Called customer help and a new part sent.... still dont know if part will fit since there was not a good picture on the Sears site of the new part to compare.
