Took the inverter motor cover off the back of the washer and installed the hose from the rear of the washer. I used a pair of channel locks to depress the clamp. removed the universal hose that I had installed and replaced it with a factory hose. Put the universal hose on because the factory hose does not last in sunlight. The washer used to be next to a window and the hose dry rotted. the universal hose didn't fit properly and the drum vibrating wore a small hole in it. The factory hose fits into the hose guides and works really well. If you use a universal hose, remember to keep the plastic grommet that goes on the back of the washer.
The worst problem with the new hose was uncoiling it! That and I needed longer arms!!
