Must have to fix sloppy steering
Worked like new. This part is slightly different than the oem but fits and operates exactly as original. I recommend removing the whole assembly from tractor and working on the bench. It is fiddly and would be very difficult to do in place. Also take a few photos before you take it apart to get the ring gear in the same orientation on the shaft with the pitman arm. The ring gear and shaft are splined.

Substitute Part Not Replacement Ordered
Manufacturers substitute part does not fit my lawn tractor steering assembly. I am using the incorrect part received until I can locate actual replacement for the tractor model ordered.
