Main Top ASM
Good product. Clean and nothing broken. It installs easily, but I recommend eye protection, good gloves and a 2' long 2x4 to prop up the glass top while removing and installing the elements. A good #3 Phillips screwdriver was the only required tool for the screws. Don't be alarmed by the crackling sounds while installing the elements on the new top. Just be sure to carefully start the screws and DO NOT allow the screwdriver to slip off and contact the glass.

Saved Thanksgiving!
My glass stovetop got a huge crack that went from top to bottom of whole top the week before Thanksgiving. I found the right part on Sears Parts Direct, ordered it with express shipping & my husband watched the Sears install video on YouTube. Part came quickly and it took my husband and teen son about 1.5 hrs to install new stovetop. It works well & I'm happy I was able to cook Thanksgiving dinner!
