Easy to install

Perfect fit for my kenmore elite range! Looks great! I ruined my original range bottom when I first used it. I put aluminum foil to cover the bottom of the range, well it melted to the foil to the range bottom. No matter what I did it looked awful. I ruined my brand new stove. I'm so happy now after installing this, it's new again. I will never use foil again. Good quality part

Expensive Part

Replacement Bottom Oven Panel - purchased for our new home due to original panel being warped, probably from an "oven cleaning" cycle. It didn't tolerate the extremely high heat. This new one was over $325, so not cheap for a small piece of metal. although I do understand that this is a custom panel, but it still seems expensive. We had to replace a thermostat as well and that was only $35. IMO, I think this panel should be made in a way that would allow it to withstand higher temps and last longer. I will either not use the Oven Clean cycle or at least stop it after one- two hours.
