A Simple Fix
Our 12 year old LG dryer had recently started making a loud banging sound, like we were trying to dry a load of tennis balls. After doing some internet research, and finding a video on youtube for our specific dryer, I felt confident enough to attempt the repair myself. It was recommended that, along with replacing the drum rollers, I replace the drum belt. Considering that installation requires the dryer to be almost completely dismantled, I would still call this an easy fix. If you have a set of socket wrenches, a fixed wrench, and a philips head screwdriver, you can absolutely do this yourself.

I replaced a drum belt idler roller and all the drum support rollers pretty easy to do after watching some YouTube videos

CORRECT PARTS
Dryer was making noise. Ordered belt and rollers but rollers were fine. New belt solved the problem.

It worked!!!!
The dryer belt was difficult to install but that's not Sears fault, it's mine for purchasing that type of dryer. If I should happen to need another appliance part, I know exactly where to go!
