Reviews
Requires a lot of modification, but it worked.
Bottom (inside) fit without any modifications, the outside was totally different from the original. Heat sinks under recoil pull cord assembly and gas tank had to be cut down so they would fit. ALL of the outside standoff lugs were the same requiring over 38 5/16" ID washers on 5 of the lugs (7-8 each) which was another PIA, but it works when torquing the bolts up and they held @ 22.2 Nm (200 in/lbs per ft. or 16 lbs/ft. All in all I wouldn't do it again, I'd buy a used head next time for a lot less off eBay and just swap the old one out (spark plug threads were stripped out) and that would be the cheapest option. So I paid twice what a used one would have cost. Live and learn...
