Kenmore Elite door lock
Kenmore Elite washer door lock part was easy to put in, but this was not the part I needed to put on I needed the Stricker. I did replace the door lock to replace the old one, was easy to put in and to take out, had no problems at all with doing this.

A little tougher to install, but perfect fix!
We have a slightly older model of the Kenmore Elite front load washer, so some things were in different placement from replacement videos I found. But, once it was finagled out (snipping a couple zip ties involved), it was a perfect fit and fix!

It Worked - What a Relief!
Our Kenmore Elite washer door was locking and wouldn't unlock. I didn't want to call service and pay through the nose, so I looked up YouTube videos about the problem which said it was 90% likely a broken lid lock and 10% a broken command circuit board. I got inside the washer and took out the lid lock - it looked fine to me. Based on the YouTube video I took a chance and ordered the lock from Sears Direct. It arrived fast, was easy to install, and PRESTO all is well. I saved myself tons of $ and scored hero points with my wife.

Easy to install
By looking at the number at the back of the defective item, I was promptly connected with the equivalent item for sale on sears website. Item arrived on the day announced. It was easy to install, although I did search for a video as I did not want to damage anything and the socket was not easy to remove. Installing the new one was a piece of cake.
