Exact fit
My fuel gauge was shot after 16 years and I finally decided to replace it with a genuine Craftsman part. It came promptly, seems well made and looks like the original. It should go another 16 years! Well done Sears.

Wrong size Fuel Gauge
No dimensiona were listed on the internet so I ordered what looked like it could work. Wrong...I got a 2 inch fuel cap when what I needed was a 1.5 inch fuel cap. I'll be returning the 2 inch and hope you have a 1.5 that will fit my 1967 12 hp Sears Lawn Tractor.

Just what I needed
unfortunately, nothing last forever. my old one was so sun faded it was impossible to read fuel level, now clear as day reading. I love Sears Direct!!!

It just screws in. Looks like the original part. Nice to have the gauge as the tank is under the seat.
