Very easily to switch out control panel.
Turn off power, open door, remove 6 screws, take panel out, remove door lock and unplug control board, swap into new panel, align in opening, reinstall six screws, close door, turn power back on, select wash cycle button and start dishwasher. If it starts with a drain cycle and then starts wash cycle Life is great again. Go set down and enjoy yourself.

Easy to replace
The troubleshooting instructions installed behind the kick plate of the dishwasher worked perfectly for identifying that the issue was the control panel rather than the control board (mother board). The hardest part was figuring out how do slide the control panel ribbon off of the pins to disconnect it. Finding the part we needed and installation of the new part was super simple

I googled on how to install this part. I did not find this exact model part, but I watched a guy install a similar part that helped. I think a written instruction sheet would help.

A Good DIY fix
It was pretty easy to install and it took about 40 to 50 minutes to watch the video, assemble the tools and perform the repair. This part was a replacement for a panel that I installed less than 2 years ago. I still think it was worth it because I did not have to buy a new dishwasher.
