Quick & Easy
I did a long overdue complete tune-up of my Sears Snow Blower - before the winter season. Changed the oil, fuel filter, grease fittings, and took wheels off and greased the axles. WD-40 on all the moving parts & Silicone on the moving show chute parts. I couldn't have done it without the Sears Parts Direct YouTube video & all the support.

The Wrong Part
The design of the machine made installation more difficult than it had to be but the big problem is the wrong part was received the first time. A week later, I received a part that looked like the right part except it was about 1/4 inch longer. I used it anyway, but my original problem was not corrected so I called Sears repair. They will be here the middle of November.

Filter damaged in shipment.
Filter was broken in shipping. Had to use my old filter. Consideration should be given to shipping this item in a box instead of a padded bag.

I replaced an eight year old fuel filter. Didn't
know it was even there. I had to buy gumout and clean the carburetor too, but it runs better. I have to dump the old gas next. NIce video online as sears part, but good luck getting the throttle and chose buttons off.

Made it leak proof with tape & screwed it in ,hooked the gas hose with clamps very simple

IDENTIFIED IN VIDEO ONLINE, BUT NOT IN MY ENGINE!
WAS TRYING TO FIND ANYTHING THAT MIGHT BE CONTRIBUTE TO SNOWBLOWER NOT STARTING. ONLINE VIDEO POINTED TO THIS FUEL FILTER AND OTHER ITEMS. SO I ORDERED THIS PART. ONLY TO FIND WHEN I RETURNED TO MY BLOWER THAT MY FUEL TANK DOES NOT HAVE ONE. CANCELLED ORDER AND FOUND IT HAVE TO ARRIVE TO BE RETURNED. FIX THE VIDEO AND STOP WASTING PEOPLE'S TIME. PLEASE

It was more difficult to install than I expected.
There are a lot of parts that have to be remove to get to this filter. And I had a hard time draining fuel tank first.
