Fuel tank
Fuel tank was damaged during shipping I believe. The outlet which made of plastic broke off , so there was nothing to connect the fuel line to. Had to use my old fitting from the old tank. I should get a free fitting for my troubles.

Terrible experience
Ordered a fuel tank for my Craftsman snow blower on December 2nd of 21. Got it in the mail on the 9th. So far so good. Then when I opened it up I found the fuel line connection on the tank (plastic) had snapped off the tank during shipping. I called for a replacement and was told that on would be shipped out that day. Also was sent a UPS label so I could return the damaged one. That tank arrived on the 16th. The package looked pretty beat up so I opened it right away. This tank also had the same exact problem, the connector broken off, but was taped onto the bubblewrap packaging!!! As I looked at the box, I then noticed the shipping label was covering another label and a message hand written on the box said "wrong number". This made me curious, so I peeled the shipping label off to find a return label from the previous dissatisfied customer in New York. Apparently it had been broken, returned by another customer, not inspected, but relabeled and sent out again. I again called Sears parts direct and was told they were very sorry and if I would return that one they would send a new one from another source. I asked if they could expedite shipping and was told she would do what she could. I was also sent another return label so I could again go to UPS to drop off the second tank. Upon getting the tracking number for the third tank, I found it was being sent from the same warehouse as the first two and the shipping arrival date was the 23rd. Still waiting for the part to arrive. Hope it is in one piece. I will never order from them again.
