Waited forever

The part works fine, and my husband is a repair guy so was able to put it in easily. However, we waited nearly four months for the part to show up and it only came AFTER I contacted customer service to ask them to just cancel the order, which they said they would. We will not be doing business with Sears Parts anymore.

5 mins Fix the problem

Overall, it is an easy problem to fix. The Start button wasn't working. In fact, the button would sometimes work, sometimes don't. I follow some of the Youtube videos trying to resolve the issue but no luck. But I know it is the Control Panel because other buttons work. So, I decided to try ordering this part. Ordering is super easy. The fact that Sears let you check the model number against the part number is a plus. 1 thing to know, you can use the cheaper one (Black), it is just the color difference. The problem that I faced. I initially received the part in 2 weeks. But then I found that the part is actually broken (maybe during shipping), so, I contact Sears and the lady was very friendly and try to order a replacement for me but then, it was out of stock. It was going to take about a month to get it. Then, I received the order in 3 weeks, and took me 5 minutes to install it, 10 hex screws total to remove the part. The dishwasher is back in action. So far, I think Sears offers the lowest among other shops that I saw. I just wish the packaging is better. Even the replacement wasn't packed nicely.

Wire Harness is included with the Control Panel

Service manual is on the kick panel on the bottom of the dishwasher. It tells how to determine if the problem is the control panel or the other circuit board. Very easy to install. Wiring harness is included with this part. No need to buy it separately.

Simple to install, just 6 screws to remove, no special tools
