quick and simple
I installed the burner without removing the drum it took me a little longer maybe 5 mins but I didn't have to worry about aligning the drum again. the hardest part was disconnecting the existing gas line which I had to take the back off the dryer to get to the clamp that holds the pipe in place. my only suggestion is to wear gloves my hands got a little nicked up but other than that is was a simple install

Gas dryer burner repair
This is the third burner repair for my 22 year old Kenmore gas dryer.....over the years..belt And seal kit also.... thousands of cycles..all Easy repairs....

Wrong bracket
The part was correct except for the bracket, but was able to remove the old bracket and use that one. Burner works great and was easy to install.

Damaged two times
I never got to repair anything. My first shipment was damaged by poor packaging and probably rough handling. The replacement part was even more damaged than the first. I cancelled the order and am returning the part. Both times the igniter was shattered in many pieces. In the second shipment, the metal frame was bent in several places. Two igniters were sent with the second shipment. One was OK and the other was shattered. I was reluctant to install a gas valve that had been mishandled.
