Perfect part, easy to install.
Easy to install, had to take one of the hoses from the old piece but that wasn't a big deal. I had a plumber friend that installed it for me and he did that in about 20 mins total. Worked out great. I paid for expedited shipping but it didn't get here in the time I paid for but I was refunded for the shipping. All is well and I don't have to take cold showers anymore! :)

Perfect unit and good instructions
My 15 year old son was able to install in about 15 minutes with instruction. I really wish there was a supplier of the high temperature screen so I could repair the old damaged unit for the future.

part good site bad
The part was great-website not so much. It says enter card number but the special code on the card doesn't fit in the box which only takes 3 digits which keeps rejecting American express cards that have a 4 number code, Yet there's a picture of Amex card right there on the page- it doesn't tell you why it just doesn't accept the numbers-I had to use another card that I didn't want to use-SO fix it

Haven't installed it yet
My old one is working again after removing it and vacuuming it out. It is getting pretty bad so I will replace with the one I ordered here when it goes out again. It was shipped to me very quickly (2 days before the date that was quoted) which is why I gave it a 4 star.

Easy Installation Except
Easy installation except. The burner unit fit into the water heater easily. But the originals J-clips were loose making it difficult to get the included screws lined-up. Solution was to get longer screws. Voila! Adding some 1 1/4" screws with Phillips head would make the installation a snap, so only 4 stars.

Fixes my water heater
Water heater kept popping and shutting off due to the sputtering of the flame. This was the cheapest and easiest fix. Unscrewed and disconnected several fittings and screws and re-attached. Took me about 1 hour. It came with new hardware which is needed for the gas line fitting.
