Install was easy!
First, clear impacted dirt from around the bolt using a standard screwdriver or similar tool. Then use a 7/16" socket for the bolt. Loosen counter-clockwise and the old ball will slide off with a little effort. Clean the shaft and install the new ball and replacement bolt if ordered. Clockwise firm is sufficient.

Not too bad of a job to replace.
Old mow ball completely gone. Took some spray lube, a little heat, and correct socket to get old one off.
